Edna’s UFO – My Shot of the Day – January 26, 2013

Below, where we looked at the black volcanic sand that covered the Barriles Panama village so long ago, Edna was telling a story about a UFO in the mountains near the volcano…

“…we saw one just out there…one afternoon…all the family was together and coming climbing back up to the house for the night and my mother said “look! look at that huge light!”  That was in the days when there were no cars coming through here so we knew it wasnt a car light.  And we saw a light that was coming down. It was coming down. It was round. Like a ship and it was spinning. It wasnt red in color but clear and the light came down and stopped and waited in the air. We waited for it to fall but it didnt. From the ship came a giant light, like a bulb, that lit the ground all around…and then it waited and waited and then it went straight up into the air.”

Edna is on a mission.  There will be much more on her here in the coming weeks and months.

When I was about 9 years old I woke once in the middle of the night, standing in our living room looking out the window. I was not a sleepwalker (though my sister was). I looked up to see an object brightly lit by red light in the sky that was round with a raised smaller section on top. It appeared to be spinning while moving. I was mesmerized. I remember thinking it resembled the old round waffle irons we had in those days.

A few years ago I was in my back yard and happened to look up. I saw an object that was a perfect elongated triangle shape – like a triangle lying on its side, gliding through the skies, going behind clouds, then coming back out. It was the brightest shade of white I’d ever seen – a color that does not exist in reality. I tried hard to convince myself it was some type of aircraft but there were no wings, and the color was very shiny – almost translucent. It seemed to stop in midair at times, then glide on. I watched it for about half an hour before it disappeared out of sight. I still don’t know what I saw.

Wow. Janet. Thank you for sharing. What a story! Two of them in fact. Was this all in Denver? I’m not sure where you grew up. I’m a CO native. I never had a UFO experience – especially like this! Again, I really appreciate you sharing.

Yes, this all took place in Denver. The childhood experience was on the West side of town in the suburbs near the foothills. The more recent event was on the east side. My next door neighbor would call me on the phone on average of once a week to come outside and see if I’d seen something he’d seen, usually at night. I did witness lights that appeared to be on something in the sky that did not move as an aircraft would. We lived near the old airport, Stapleton, but it had been abandoned for several years when I saw the daytime object.
