Dubai has become a glamorous destination for both the young hip traveler and the vacationer that is looking to splurge. The area is known for extravagant shopping, vibrant clubs and bars, and a variety of fine restaurants. While many people are aware of the top of the line hotel accommodations that are reported on television, you can go to Dubai and find lovely and/or interesting places to stay at more affordable prices.
Budget Hotels
Many of the budget hotels in Dubai like the Holiday Inn Express Internet City or the Dream Palace Hotel are located closer to the business and commercial parts of the city like Internet City. There is plenty of shopping, dining, and other activities around these hotels; these facilities are also ideal if this is a business trip. With a bit of searching you can still find an economy hotel in a more “hip” part of town if you wish. Budget hotels in Dubai often still offer amenities like gymnasiums, saunas, swimming pools, and business conference centers so a low price does not mean that you have to skimp on accommodations.
Affordable Luxury Hotels
You may feel that your trip to Dubai won’t be complete if you don’t experience some decadent luxury during your hotel stay. You can find really nice hotels with many of the bells and whistles that more expensive hotels have like turn down service, free Wi-Fi, guest parking, and complimentary bathrobes and slippers – all without blowing a hole in your budget. These hotels may also have activities on site like ice skating, massage services, and a full-service spa. Some examples of these more affordable luxury hotels include Hyatt Regency Dubai and Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach.
Hotel Apartments
If you plan on staying in Dubai for an extended amount of time, a hotel apartment like the Winchester Deluxe Hotel Apartments or Desert Rose Hotel Apartments may be a more economical option for your trip to Dubai. Hotel apartments can have the basic necessities with a kitchenette and internet service or can be more luxurious with 24 hour concierge desks, security, and restaurants. You can find these apartments in town or close to parks and beaches; lone travelers, groups of business colleagues, or families can all find hotel apartments that meets their needs.
Visiting Dubai does not mean that you have to spend everything on nice accommodations. With some investigation about Dubai hotels, you can find rooms within your price range and as simple or as extravagant as you want.
