The last four years have been a nightmare for our public lands, our waters, our…

Hot Air Balloons, Train Rides, Sand Dunes…the Past Three Weeks
It always happens this way. Its not like our summers aren’t full of all kinds of activity but when late August rolls around I feel that winter haunts like the Grim Reaper. I’m not a fan of winter. So, the kids and I always dash off to squeeze in every summer-time adventure we hadn’t yet gotten to. This year on the list it was Ilan’s first hot-air balloon ride, the Cumbres-Toltec Railroad and camping at the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve in Colorado. It is a little hard to keep up on the website and alot of the content I want to get to here. I guess that is what winter is for.
By the way, I’ll have a big annoucement up on the 23rd. So drop back by then for sure.
Oh, one apology. As I’ve noted here, I have to accept some advertising on this website to have the income to keep part of my focus here on developing Around the World in Eighty Years. I try to keep that advertising out of subscribers inboxes. Yesterday, I posted an advertisment article and failed to block it from going out to the inboxes of my subscribers. I apologize for that.
Anywho………
